Helping Students Shine
At Templeton NAC, our mission is to learn about every aspect of a child, from their strengths and motivations to challenges and frustrations, so that we can build a strong coalition of supporters to ensure a lifetime of happiness and success.
We understand that every child has unique set of learning styles and life experiences that make them special, which is why we tailor our evaluations for each child we assess. We specialize in working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations, as well as those with a wide range of disabilities. Our integration of standardized with ecological measures provide assurance that “every stone is unturned” as we create a comprehensive profile of the child.
We also provide counseling services, both group and individual, encompassing a wide range of issues and utilizing various therapeutic approaches. Our dynamic groups are formed to meet the needs of children who need that extra-specialized attention to help them pass through difficult times in their lives.
Helping Parents Bloom
We understand that parents have access to an abundance of information, which can be overwhelming at times. This is why we tailor our recommendations with parents in mind, realizing that every household is different. After sharing a comprehensive profile of a child’s motivations, interests, learning strengths, and weaknesses. We share practical and realistic recommendations tailored to the child and parents needs.
Helping Teachers Soar
All of our specialists at Templeton NAC have firsthand experience with Response to Intervention program development and implementation. We understand the challenges faced by school teams in finding research-based interventions that fit with their students’ needs. We offer consultation and trainings to help schools create RtI programs that also integrate English Learner needs, bearing in mind the changes in demands that will take place with the statewide Common Core conversion. We believe in raising the bar of expectations for all students, especially English Language Learners.
